KidsTime Children's Church
Children's Church is for all children from 5 years old through the fourth grade.
Join us as we begin a new Kid's Travel Guide Series - Our first adventure will be the 10 Commandments.
Join us as we embark to Mt. Sinai to learn about God's rules for daily living. Each week will focus on a specific commandment and we will learn The Ten Commandments Rap Song. It is sure to be a great adventure!!
Children's Church now meets in the Fellowship.
Kingdom Kids Children's Choir
Kingdom Kids Children's Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm for ages 5-12. We have two annual musical productions: Christmas and Spring. We will meet in the fellowship hall.
VBS
Our biggest, most exciting event is our Vacation Bible School which is always held the first full week of June.
KidzConnection
KidzConnection is all about children learning Bible truths and principles, memorizing scripture, making crafts, and having object talks. It is geared to equip the K-6th grade students with head knowledge of the Bible and heart knowledge of Jesus. We will explore Jesus' teachings with life application and hands-on experiences. It promises to be a fantastic training time for our young Christians and Christians-to-be. Click here to learn more.
Other Events
Our Children's Ministry Department sponsors two major events each year for all ages 0-6th grade. An annual Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat each year on October 31 and our annual Easter Egg Hunt and the telling of the Resurrection story the Saturday before Easter. We also have Family Connection events like our Family Luau or Sock Hop or Fiesta throughout the year.
All of our children's programs and outreach events are staffed with enegetic, kid-loving volunteers. Because we value the safety of all our children, each volunteer must have a valid background check on file.
First Baptist Church Children's Ministries is dedicated to ministering to all preschool and elementary kids and their families in Christian love and fellowship; equipping them to know God's love, grow in God's love, and show God's love! We love Growing Children Toward the Son!!
